When it comes to MARINE & OFFSHORE PAINTING, our goal is to
invest the time and effort necessary to fulfill each client's objectives
and to maintain the highest level of safe and thorough service.
We have the resources to provide abrasive blasting and painting
of barges, supply boats, and other marine vessels. Although most
of our work is performed dockside, we have the means to complete
your job at your location.
Tasch abrasive blasted and coated
the interior and exterior of all surfaces on the dredge M/V Meridian.
The project was completed on site at C.F. Bean's facility in Belle
Chasse, Louisiana.
Tasch blasted and coated the massive
semi-submersible drilling rig Ocean Century. Containment was a key
part of this project because the abrasive blasting and coating operation
took place on the environmentally protected Sabine River. Recoverable
blasting media was used with high-performance coatings provided
by Sigma Coatings.
This photograph shows the "dance
floor" erected by Tasch under the Ocean Century to facilitate
blasting and coating operations which took place within the Tasch
film containment system.
When the S/S Brightfield rammed the
River Walk Shopping Mall on the Mississippi River in New Orleans,
Tasch was called on to assist in the reconstruction of the gaping
hole in the side of the vessel. Working under tight deadlines, Tasch
completed all exterior ship hull coatings and interior tank linings.
Work was completed at the public docks in New Orleans.
